Indexing in memory palace

The idea I mentioned is for multiple memory palaces. I might have misunderstood the original question.

Number shapes:

  1. candle
  2. swan
  3. butterfly
  4. flag
  5. etc.

Memory palaces / rooms:

  1. Cafe #1a
  2. Cafe #1b
  3. Cafe #2
  4. Cafe #3a
  5. Cafe #4b
  6. etc.

Then to keep the palaces in order, a number shape can be put in front of each:

  1. candle in front of cafe #1a.
  2. swan in front of cafe #1b.
  3. butterfly in front of cafe #2.
  4. etc.
