Hi Charliemac
Welcome to the forum.
I like your method!
I like your idea about the days of the week with colours also.
Not sure if it’s better, I think it may differ for each individual, but I’ve also done something similar to your method, on this links below;
These mnemonics are for all the needed images for setting and remembering appointments, dates etc.
* Months Of The Year
* 31 Days Of The Month
* 7 Days Of The Week
* 24 Hour Clock
I’ve been looking for something like this but could not find one. So I created it myself.
Since I’ve created the mnemonics for the months, I thought it might be handy to have a Mnemonic Clock.
[Mnemonic-Clock-ErolOzvatan]
This can perhaps be very useful for appointments, to do list etc.
It can also be used as a 24 stops memory palace too.
What would you guys use it for?
The inner circle of the clock has the images from 1-12. The outer circle has the images from 13 - 00. The last two Eggs represents 00 as the clock reset itself at the 24th hour.
So with this appointment of you collecting your Mother at 09.15,
09 = Boxer’s Glove with A Right Hook Punch
15 = Wheelchair.
Location = Mother’s House Door or Living Room.
So the mini-story link could be;
You are at the house door to pick her up, the door opens your Mother Punches you with a Right Hook wearing a…
And for ther days of the week I’ve created images for each day, on this link;
I have so far created; The Mnemonic Clock, Month Calendar, Year Calendar.
And now The Days of The Week.
[Mnemonics-For-TheDaysOfTheWeek-ErolOzvatan]
And for the 31 days, I’ve also used my images here;
I’ve already created a mnemonic Clock, 12 months calendar, and thought I might as well create the 31 days Full Month Calendar with Number Shapes.
Hope it will be a good use to us all.

And the Months of the year images here;
This list might come handy for memorising dates, history, appointments, etc.
It may even be used as a 12 pegs/stops memory journey.

charliemac:
Tuesday June 2nd at Noon would be -
6th Floor - room 2 (with Sock on it, colored Orange), sitting in the car you would see your boss in the rearview mirror.
I like this example.
Do you always imagine the same car with the same parts to represent each hour?
Is it not confusing for different dates?
How do you know what floor you are at?
