Tricky one. I allow “oh” to be “ow” and unsounded Rs to be used freely, so “flowerpot” would work - although it’s a bit of a leap from the initial syllable sound of “fope”.

Also “faux pas” is good. So maybe somebody making a faux pas by breaking a flowerpot, to nail the association.
