Watch "Murali Doraiswamy - How Does Memory Work?" on YouTube

This is a fascinating discussion about the storing of information as memory in the brain. It discuses the divergence of opinion about where memory is stored from the quantum to the cellular, to the synapses and beyond in a collective cloud.

This is a fairly open minded discussion about the process of memorization. From Working memory in the hippocampus and prefrontal cortex to the final memory globally distributed in the brain when the information is deemed to be important.

Looking forward to the opinions of all of you.

Thanks for the link. Just watched it.

It was very interesting, and (imo) a good, balanced introduction to the question of where memory is stored, as you said. I would have liked to watch more.

I will be keeping an eye out for more info on Murali Doraiswamy’s work.

Appreciate the upload; nice to learn about memory in more scientific way this way. It’s no fault of your own, of course, but I wish the video was longer! I wanted to take more notes, haha. I could dedicate a movie’s length of time to this stuff
