Just looked at some Anki analytics for this system’s deck. It’s showing just over 75,000 reviews so far. This seems like a lot, and it is I guess, but with 2704 unique pairs in the system, Its really only seeing each one an average of about 30 times. Worth noting is that those two big spikes in the log don’t accurately represent actual reviews. I reset the progress of the whole deck on those days and it counted them as being reviews, so in reality I’m probably closer to 65,000 total. For previous large system learning (shadow, 2704 split P/O,) I believe I was well over 100,000 reviews before I felt comfortable going fast. It took about 250,000 total reviews before getting my first sub-60 deck time. This is a great sign that this system is optimized better for me!
In terms of time spent working with the system, I’m at about 50 hours. In my previous system build(s) I don’t think I reached similar recognition speeds until I was over 100 hours and it took me over 160 hours before hitting a sub-60 deck. Again this tells me that this system is working better for me in terms of getting fluent more quickly!
