Finally, I had reconstructed my objects, and thanks @Erol your objects hinted a lot while adjusting mine.

I like the shapes and associated number but the order thing is not clear to me.
So you picture the second object? and the action of the first object?
Are you grouping 2 or 3 images together?
If there is action /sound – do you treat that as one aspect —
breathing through an umbilical cord is also powerful

Busy learning the Shaper System. I modified it a bit to suit my own tastes and preferences but most of what Erol has shared I am using. I am still a bit emotionally attached to my current Major System list but I think that the Shaper System is better. I will combine it with my SEM3 which I feel is basically like a palace within a palace. It is very exciting.

My reaction to this objection is that these hindrances can be overcome by practice and fluency. When you read English you don’t experience this mental conversation e.g. "That’s a T . It makes a “tee” sound. The text is transparent.
I mention this because I am currently trying to learn a fairly large block of arithmetic facts for calculation and if I have to spend any time or cognitive effort to decode a mnemonic, I drop other parts of the problem.

Hi Zvuv. Have you tried opting for an “Unencoded PAO system”, i.e. one that places no reliance upon either the Major Code or Dominic Code. As difficult as it may sound 100 images of people can be built around numbers 00 - 99. By people I am referring to actual people living or dead or even a “person’s profession”. I have one exception in my cast of 100 unencoded characters that is actually a car for #53. The car of course is “Herbie” the “Love Bug”. So “Herbie” effectively has been anthropomorphized into a person as such. Herbie’s Action is “Leaking” and his Object is “Oil”.

There are a couple of reasons why I didn’t use that kind of approach.
Numbers involved range up to 4 sometimes 5 digits.
PAO implicitly applies English syntax and the numbers in question can appear in any order.
I am somewhat autistic and not comfortable having people in my head - I prefer things.
But as I explained in my comment, with enough practice, the mnemonics become ‘transparent’ and the numeric value becomes immediate, just as the sounds and meaning are when reading English.
Zvuv I understand that “People” as peg words are not everyone’s favoured method. What do you use as ‘images’ for numbers then? I assume your ‘images’ would be objects then? Do you use the shaper system or some variant of it or are you using the Major System to encode your numbers into ‘images’?

I am working on my multiplication table upto 20 and the squares up to 100 I encoded the information using the Major System as triplets of nouns involved in some scene dove & dog = message 18x17=306 . I visualize a dove delivering an envelope to the dog but the verb is not part of the encoding and serves only to animate the scene.
Developing the full suite of mnemonics was a significant effort as was getting them into memory but by far the largest part of the work has been practise to the point of easy fluency.

I understand what you are trying to do. Interestingly, I was reading a book “A Gift From Memory World” ISBN 0-620-32699-9 by Kevin Horsley which I only picked up the day before yesterday in which he the author explains a simpler version of what you are doing in multiply numbers from 1 x 1 up to 10 x 10 to teach primary school children their times tables. He calls his system “Magic Times” and gives an example of 7 x 6 = 42. He uses the ‘shaper type’ system and has an elephant denoting the number (6) and a man fishing with a rod to denote a (7) as the fisherman’s rod and line looks like a (7). He places the elephant 6 and fisherman 7 are on the LHS of the page and on the RHS of the page he shows a sailboat (4) and a duck (2) as a compound image to denote the number 42. Clever system similar to what you are doing only you’re using a Major System to encode your two factors and the product thereof. Good Luck with that project.

I think, were I teaching grade school, I would favor a friendly system like that. But for my project I needed a system that was more versatile and, as I have described, acquisition time was not the the major factor.

This is great. Could you share your system? I can’t help but think your system is Dominic influenced (at least)–this may be because yours seems similar to mine, which is thoroughly shaped by the Dominic system.
