After reading this, I changed my studying habits to use a “timeboxing” type system to aid long term memory: 10 minutes studying, then 10 minutes wakeful resting. Rinse & repeat for however long it takes to memorize the material I’m trying to learn.
Does anyone else have experience using this kind of system?
Does anyone know if any similar studies have been done using different periods of time? This study used a 10 minute period, but I’m curious if a shorter period would work as well or if a longer period would be even more effective.
