I’ve previously shared my Anki decks for THE SHADOW SYSTEM, and 0-9 / 00-99 PAO SYSTEM. The final entry in this trilogy is my deck for PAO CARDS!
This deck can be imported into Anki and contains notes for every element (person, action, and object) that are associated with every playing card.
Each note contains an image of the playing card, and fields for the related element word and image. It also contains a field for “number,” which can be used if you are basing your card associations on a number system. (I use the Major System to read the value and suit of the card and translate that into my word/image.)
All fields can be changed to suit your system’s style. I’ve included the words that I use for each element but you can/should replace those with your own. The “image” field is blank, so that you can add your own imagery. Once you do, those images should show up in the answer field alongside the word. If you’re proficient at editing card templates, you should be able to rearrange the look and format as you see fit.
The deck contains both forward and reverse cards so that you can quiz yourself by seeing the playing card first and having to recall the associated P or A or O word/image, or you can go from the word/image first to try to decode it to the correct card.
