Remembering the periodic table

Hello,
I want to memorize the periodic table for fun and practice.
Does anyone know how or steps or even a full tutorial for this?

Colin

If you search for previous posts about this - there are quite a few.

I found this nice set of cartoons of the elements as characters:

(Haven’t actually memorized the elements though…)

Here’s an old post about how I did it:

First thing to do is decide how much information per element you want to remember. There are several tables you can find, with different information included or ignored. Some have oxidation (status? rate?), some have the number of electrons per shell, some point out liquids, solids, gasses and others go into details like noble gasses and transitional metals.

Once you have your table(s) picked out you can start deciding how you’re going to organize it in your MP(s). I don’t have any specifics to help with that.

A few paragraphs in and I describe how I put together one element.
