Reading ancient thoughts on memory

I’m reading a book on Aristotle’s “On Memory.” I find it interesting to read the thoughts of ancient writers because they were aware of memory palaces and think about memory along those line - whereas I’m not sure many philosophers or neuroscientists today are aware of them or use them.
