Is there an efficient way to number loci throughout a memory palace, so that when you want to know loci number x, you can immediately tell which one it is?
I’ve seen some people talk about it, such as Ron White in his “how to create memory palaces” YouTube video, but the only way he provides is to just assign numbers to loci and keep going through until you remember each ones number. I find that doing that would take lots of time as it is basically rote memorization
For context, I’m just numbering the alphabet so I can know which letter corresponds with what number from 1 to 26 (for ciphers/cryptography)
If you could let me know how I would go about doing this, or if I’m going about this incorrectly, that’d be great! ![]()
