Hi guys
Dorian
I want to help you
To be honest as I know and Hear it is not good to use 1000 object and 1000 person
I mean it is bad to use PAO 3+2+3
Because it is not help you because a lot of images
If you want use 1000 object like big athlete like Andrea and Alex and Johannes
There are already
Nelson dilis the USA memory chmpion 3 times and he is best time by this method I think 30 sec and he is really strong but the big images 2100 image
and honestly if you really good with PAO 2digit system
Complete with it
and if you don’t know
In WMC 2019
Munkhshur Narmandakh got 3818 digit by PAO 2 digit system
For me for long events like 30 min and 1 hour numbers and 15 min also I think PAO better than 3 digit system because your fast with PAO and if you forget any images you can find it easily because you have 300 images onlly and You will not be distracted by repeating images
So my tip to you
Choose between 1000 images only or PAO 2 digit system
and GL
I wanted just help you and it is your choice
NLM NeiL Morse, one of my favourite musicians
Well I didn’t know him, but I went to youtube to listen some, I don’t know if it’s going to remplace my nail man, but thanks for the tip nonethess ![]()
So jumping to the 500s (because the 400s were easy to find somehow), I’m now looking for 501-520.

508 Serb
509 Surfer, Serf, Servant

517 Soldier, Celtic (Basketball)
518 Slob, Sleeper
519 Slave, Sylvester (Cartoon), Silph (Pokemon, Team Rocket)
520 Sinner, Snorlax (Pokemon)
Thank you for your excellent suggestions… I took a lot of them.
I especially like Slash (with his snakes!), it’s definitely memorable.
What characteristics do you see for a Serb? I admit that I can imagine a Frenchman with a baguette, a Dutchwomen with wooden shoes and cheese, a Swiss man like an armailli (preferably with a cow), but I’m drawing a blank for a Serb…
I would use one of my best friends who is a Serb that hates everyone from the Balkans.
stereotype could be like a tennis player holding a rifle arguing (with a Croat).
Novak Djokovic is the most well known living Serb so you can use him.
I was half asleep and I had a sudden thought: if I expend my 99 PAO to 999 PAO, doesn’t it mean that it should be actually 000-999 (and not 0 to 999), meaning that my 1-99 are actually “useless”? (because it should be 001 to 099?) ![]()
If you want to memorize something like 23916492407 via a 3-digit list you’ll have two digits remaining…
239-164-924-07
You can either brute force grab and remember those last digits or just use your two digit list and add “ZaCK” or a “SoCK” to the end of your scene or whatever you have for 07.
Same scenario for 5820572910… 582-057-291-0… that trailing zero can be visualized as an element from your single digit list.
That’s why I’m always collecting characters from movies, novels, literature, inventors, scientists, movie actors, models, history, comics, anime, etc… This is the most beneficial and simplest.
I tend to multiply my images, it is much simpler and simpler since you only modify the images as if they were sculptures. For example, if I have “will smith” representing 9, 19, 29, 39…999… I modify it so that it is not the same, by adding, removing or merging to create a completely new image, simply modify anything and don’t limit yourself, you can even create a name for that character and it will be completely different, for example:
-
A black man, with burning eyes, in torn white clothes, carrying a dying girl on his right shoulder.
1.1 Name: Elfin
1.2 Use names that are completely catchy, stupid or whatever you like, it can also be a name that the image inspires you and this is totally personal. -
A black man, breathing fire from his mouth, with greasy skin, a prominent stomach, pointed ears, riding a furious red dragon.
2.1 Name: Gromir
For this to work, you only use the character you have as a mold which you will modify until you create something new and different. You add or remove something to their head, eyes, lips, ears, neck, chest, etc.
Thank you both I think I just had a brief moment of negative thought because I was tired and because 999 PAO seems such a big large overwhelming project, now that I’ve decided to tackle it in its entirety instead of only parts of it… (and I’ve got attached to these 1-99 people
)
I like Magno’s idea of variations and simply inventing people when need be - I actually already have some entierly imaginary people in my PAO, and some of my people are probably so far away from who they are for real (because I don’t really KNOW any celebrities) that they probably are imaginary people too… maybe I should just embrace the concept fully.
It is something totally curious that the mind with simple modifications gives a new meaning to the image, becoming totally new, this is also good when it comes to concepts, creating a hierarchical tree in the subject, acquiring new meanings. For example, the Greek god Prometheus steals fire from the gods and gives it to humans, he is punished by Zeus for constant torture where a bird eats his stomach which regenerates, thus perpetuating eternal suffering, etc.
In a way it’s like having memory palace stations that are movie scenes. You can use the same place and same person but with a different story/scene, and it doesn’t get mixed up.
Exactly.
I’ve used a Star Wars analogy before in a sort of related context about how Luke flies his Xwing a lot in the movies. He flies it in the Death Star trench and he also flies it to Dagobah to meet Yoda. I never confuse those scenes. Even though the Person Action and Object are the same I never think Luke is meeting Yoda on the Death Star and never think he’s going to launch a torpedo at Yoda’s hut. The location provides context to the story.
It would be similar where different people perform the same actions with the same object. Or even the same person in different roles. Harrison Ford shoots a gun in many movies while playing different characters. I’d probably never confuse the scenes even though its the same actor and action and object. The differences in characters provides unique context that keeps it from getting mixed up.
To optimize and organize your memorization methods in a pragmatic, detailed and concise way, consider the following guidelines:
-
Category Classification: Create thematic lists to memorize characters and objects. Examples of categories could be:
- Characters: Comics, anime, film actors, historical figures, characters from movies, novels, literature, television series.
- Animals: Classified by gender and species.
- Objects: Organized by location or function, such as bathroom items, kitchen, living room, bedroom, hospital, school, etc.
-
Gender Segmentation: Divide character lists by gender, making it easier to associate and remember. Men and women.
-
Use of Memory Systems: Apply memorization techniques to remember names and objects.
-
Visualization and Movement: For characters, memorize not only their faces but also their movements and unique characteristics. Use well-known characters as a base to create new ones, adding distinctive elements (such as a particular haircut).
-
Memory Objects and Numerical Association: Incorporate memorable objects (caps, tea cups, flowers) into your visualizations. Assign each object a number using the major system, allowing you to memorize up to 1000 characters with 100 well-memorized major system memory objects. The objects of the major system will be located in a specific immobile location, the objects of the major system will give movement to the images and how well memorized objects will help retain the images of the characters. For more than one character you must differentiate the movement, although the simple fact of having a new face will be enough for the image to be different, the only thing you will have to do is add images that describe the character, since you will not need only the name , if not also the characteristics of the character to memorize.
-
Personalization and Creativity: For unknown characters, assign unique or exaggerated features (like a pineapple head) to make them easier to remember. Limit the number of objects and movements added to avoid information overload; 7 items per character is a good number.
-
Patience and Gradual Progression: Do not rush the learning process. Progress gradually, acquiring and memorizing names and objects at your own pace.
Remember that each person has their own learning and memorization style, since each character has a different face and therefore different images to remember the name and face. Adapt these guidelines to your needs and preferences to develop a system that works optimally for you.
I’m asking your help again, for numbers 100-100, because I think I’ve gone as far as possible on my own. Here are the keywords I already have. Any help would be appreciated. Priority given to french/english/german words.

Are you still looking for only people? Here’s some ideas:
139 - elmo friend (i saw you already have “elmo monster” as 133, but maybe you could make 133 “lemmy motorhead”)
163 - lash me (the character from 50 shades of gray who is into kinky stuff)
166 - lush jack (johnny depp as drunk captain jack sparrow)
168 - luigi bro (from super mario bros)
169 - elijah vood (i really stretched this one. Its elijah wood, but in my mind I pronounce it with a vampire accent eliiiisha vooood.)
171 - lidless (the guy from clockwork orange with his eyeballs clamped open)
199 - olaf frozen (do you want to build a snowman??)
Hope this helps!
139: Alma V (Calamity of a Zombie Girl)
163: LeChimp (Monkey Island), Lechmere (Battle For Market Share)
166: Luigi Yoshida (Giant Killing), La Chacha (Patoruzito)
168: El Chupacabra (Disney), La Chapi (Deviantart)
169: El Jefe (Sly Cooper), Welch Vineyard (Star Ocean), Luigi Vendetta (Kick Buttowski)
171: Eilietta Lash (Zenonzard The Animation), Little Cocon (Uma Musume)
199: Olho-vivo (Toy Story), Life Virus (Mega Man)
Man, these were difficult ones. I took them from my 3-digit PO list, and when a cell has just one or two options, it’s a sign that it’s a VERY difficult combination. I saw that @TheHumanTim also stretched the names a little to fill those, so I think it’s not our fault.
