It kind of depends on what you want to do with info. I memorized the periodic table of elements but I never got to recall it or use it on a daily basis. So I am not sure what the point was of me memorizing it haha For fun???

I like to workout so I am going to memorize all sorts of exercises so at the gym, I can pull out any exercises I want to do at the gym depending on the equipment or what I want to work out. I find this very useful! I am also learning how to dance so being able to remember the moves is useful! I try to go through the useful route when learning info because if you can’t use the info, what is the point haha

And I appear to be one of the only one who’s using a Memory Palace for daily meditation and general mental health.
It’s great for that!
I talked about it more here : Using a Memory Palace as a Journal in my Everyday Life

haha,
this looks interesting because i also workout but i don’t have to memorize i just know ,
and yes man you’re right like i use it when doing anything that requires info recalling cuz why not and this is what i am thinking about is just where i can deploy this tool of memorizing beside other tools of thinking ,btw i like your spirit and good luck on them dancing moves haha

well dig into that , thank you

I totally know what you mean when it comes to working out. But maybe you found a new workout or new exercises so memorizing would be helpful!

Thanks! haha I think you can memorize routines. This can help you get into the habit of doing them just naturally. I am guilty of just saying I will do this and that but end up not doing because those new activities were not connected to anything.

Honestly, I don’t know how much things need to get memorize on a daily basis besides grocery list. I feel when you are trying to learn or do new things, then you need to start memorizing so maybe the key is to learn something new!

If you haven’t seen it, there’s a private messaging feature on this site too. It will send you real-time mobile notifications if you open this site in a browser, click the “add to home screen” button on the browser, and turn on “live notifications” on your preferences page. It basically installs the forum on your phone like an app.

Memorize the INTERNATIONAL CHRONOSTRATIGRAPHIC CHART v 2020/01 with all it‘s details like: GSSP with location and year of definition; meaning of each term (you will have to learn some Greek; events in ages, epochs, periods, eras & eons (stages, series, systems, erathems & eonothems), massexctinctions, meteorit impacts, stone formations, events to live forms, plate tectonics, climatic changes, isotope measurements, foraminiferas, plankton, sea creatures, …)
You will learn the history of our earth and the appearance of humans. You will learn a lot about yourself.
I wish you good luck and a lot of patience.

I myself know the ICC by the IUGS v 2020/01 with all it‘s details. Every day I can add more knowledge to it.
