Memorizing Network Diagrams

Hello Everyone,

I’m new to the idea of memory techniques but I’m learning as I go. I was hoping to get some advice from the experts :slight_smile:

I’m moving to a new position where I need to learn the names of all network devices in area , and the IP addresses. Ideally, I would like to be able to draw these from memory. An example of what I am trying to learn would be this:

I’m willing to work hard to do it, but with so many methods, I’m not sure what the best way to do it would be.

The exact diagram above could be achieved using memory palaces and a number system.

When working on a number system for the ip addresses you may also have to create numbers from 0-9 that contain decimal points at the end.

You may also want to convert technical components to something you can easily visualise unless they are easy to visualise already.
