New student of the art of memory here
I have been studying about memory techniques for a few months now and I have great success when I have to memorize short sentences or simple concepts and words, but I am working on a new project of memorizing the constitutional laws of my country, the problem is that I have run out of space very quickly in my house( the place i choose as my loci) , is there any way to solve this problem or should I use many houses and places that I know? Is there any way to store this in just one place?
sorry if it’s hard to understand and for my poorly phrased sentences, english is not my first language
Congrats on starting learning a new extremely useful skill. Like every time you learn something new it’s going to be really hard at first, but worth it.
I’ve been looking into miniature memory devices made by hand as a substitute for real world loci; they can be extended as needed. Based upon the Lukasa I read about in Lynne Kelly’s book, Memory Craft. Might be something for you to consider
