Being more Productive

I have been practicing daily, rotating between mental calculation, learning my pegs for the major system with the software and recently adding numbers training from the memory league page. I am seeing slow steady improvement. My pegs are not well enough learned for me to be really productive on the training page but it is providing me a mentally strenuous reaching task that seems to be speeding up learning the pegs.

I find that is about as much extra mental energy as I have most days and this means that I have to choose what I am going to learn. I don’t have spare cycles to learn all the things, work all day and do life.

I look around me and see people running businesses, working full-time jobs, writing books, travelling the world and generally being so effective with their time in life that it amazes me. Like anything else I suspect there is an element of talent but it would be nice to do better with the time I have before I run out.

Any tips for leveraging up general life productivity, without simply turning yourself into a work robot?

I’ve read this one and it reminds me of the old scam, self improvement books of the 20’s and 30’s, Specifically, Napolean Hill’s Think and be Rich. Euphemisms wrapped in the power of positive thinking.
There are many modern variant of this logically flawed thinking. What I like about Mnemonic and mental calculation is that they are effective and leverageable. I am looking for similar learnable leverageable tools in life.

Sorry to be directly critical but marketing scams are sometimes a good way of making money for the marketer (usually not) but they are almost always a poor way of achieving personal success. I stack this beside Anthony Robbins and Robert Tilton scams.

Unless you are suggesting I should just run scams and ponzi schemes in which case I have considered it but decided it was morally unacceptable.

yup, schedule, routine, priorities and lists work and I get a lot more done.
I should probably start there for 6-12 months and worry about hpfm later.
