The International Association of Memory (IAM) is having an election for the IAM Board.

What is the IAM Board?

The IAM Board is composed of up to 7 representatives who lead the IAM by sharing the various responsibilities needed to bring the organisation forward. The board members bring their own opinions and viewpoints to the table, and work on shaping and developing the IAM on behalf of its members and the memory community.

The upcoming election will determine the board members for a term of 2 years, from 1 April 2024 to 31 March 2026.

The Election Timeline is as follows:

  • 18 February 2024 (Sun) – Announcement
  • 09 March 2024 (Sat) – Deadline for candidate applications
  • 10 March 2024 (Sun) – Applications published, and public question round opens
  • 15 March 2024 (Fri) – Public question round closes
  • 19 March 2024 (Tue) – Last day to register as an IAM member to be eligible to vote
  • 22 March 2024 (Fri) – Deadline for candidates to answer public questions
  • 23 March 2024 (Sat) – Candidate answers published
  • 24 March 2024 (Sun) – Voting opens
  • 30 March 2024 (Sat) – Voting closes
  • 31 March 2024 (Sun) – Announcement of election results

Bumping this. The voting period is about to start, and will be open between 2024-03-24T00:01:00Z→2024-03-30T23:59:00Z. All IAM members eligible to vote should have received an email from the “Helios Voting Bot” with instructions on how to do so.

The voting period is now also officially open, so eligible IAM members can cast their votes now.
