Whiteboarding / Mindmaps as a thinking tool

Mind-mapping is usually talked about as a study tool, but there’s another use for laying things out in a visuospatial way: Brainstorming (or problem solving).
Mostly this is an excuse to post a video about whiteboarding by the wonderful Marshall Vandruff.

The last one I did was because I was feeling pretty dissatisfied at how much I ignore a mnemonic project. Scribbling out ideas helped for a few days, but left out of sight it was soon out of mind. I’m one of those people that really needs external reminders, so I just set this as my desktop background.
