What method to memorise this list

You’ve made a very valid point there and I agree with you that objects can actually be animate.

Let me rephrase things and rather say People Card Pegs (at least for a system that uses 52 Card Pegs, that is one for each card) would be my preference, albeit maybe not everybody else’s preference for the reason that my 52 People Card Pegs all can clearly interact with each of 52 loci, assuming I am putting one People Card Peg at each loci. For example, if I use the Dominic System and my intuitive loci pegs and had the card Ace of Hearts at position #51, I can clearly see Adolf Hitler (Ace of Hearts) piloting a Drone (Drone represents Area 51), so Adolf Hitler is piloting a Drone Bomb in area 51. A very memorable image for me, at least?

Thats a very memorable image! It really is a personal preference thing.

I think the important thing is to pick people that are extremely recognizable or elicit a strong and unique reaction and try to avoid using several similar people. Like if you had 4 people in your list who were all white male swimmers, or all female pop stars, it would likely be tough to sort out who the right one was.

Thanks for all the recommendations, it took me a while to put together my memory palace - can see it here for those questions, and identifying relevant movies for each one.

My question is, is it more effective to create a new memory palace for something else you want to remember or can you use the same memory palace again?

Hi everyone,

I’m expanding my memory palace and added my apartment. I’m aiming to store one topic per location (e.g. the ironing board below is one topic but within 5 different things to remember for that topic) . Here’s an image of my current setup:

  1. How do you ensure each concept is distinctly memorable?
  2. Any specific techniques to make each memory stand out?
  3. Do I have too many images and characters in my setup?

Thanks!

How can we generate these images?

You ask a question, but you don’t acknowledge or respond to the answer you receive.
