I’m rather basic with my system – major system, with no extra sounds, for every two-digit combination, plus a few additional multiples of 10.
97 = pug (dog variety), though I considered “pig,” “bag,” and “book” (all of which seemed too generic)
097: I have nothing, but would consider “Spock” is that image weren’t already at aside for the seven of spades… Perhaps “spoke,” “spike,” or “sawbuck” (a ten dollar bill)
97 / 097 (Major system) = bike / spaghetti
I like items that can have action. Bike is perfect and spaghetti works well without going gross with an ice pick.
@Rajadodve786, I’m a foodie, but it’s still confusing. I have spaghetti and noodle but Roman candle and not ramen. I liked Roman candles as a kid for July 4th.
So I had to switch my noodle after checking because of you. Now it’s an anthill. 355 is horrible for choices but I think a molehill is distinct enough from an anthill so I’m sticking with the two hills.
Person: Tony Blair (British PM elected in '97)
Action: popping/spilling champagne bottle
Object: champagne bottle / podium
I have really mixed feelings about Blair and I’ve made the champagne popping kind of, um, icky, so this image is really provocative and ‘sticky’ for me
Recognizing my own limitations (and constrained by the fact that I had a hard time with Major System images that included unused digits), I contented myself with two-digit images 00-99 plus one-digit images – in combination, they cover numbers of any length, but I sometimes use custom images for more digits if they’re particularly appropriate.
