What are the most important memory games/training you recommend?

I know that depends what you want to memorize. It is not the same to memorize the dictionary as memorizing faces of people or letters. But do you think there are things that everyone should memorize because of how good they are?

“things that everyone should memorize because of how good they are?”

Thats quite subjective… If you’re from the USA probably the USA National Anthem… but if you’re from China???

In all seriousness everyone has different interests. If you want to be able to improve method of loci and images you can train with just a deck of cards. That’s my go-to training especially when traveling.

Yeah, in the end, it was kinda a bad question for that. I guess some things help a lot for others like loci method, I will look it, thanks.

I recommend playing the card game, Mascarade. Fun trying to keep track of what the other players might have

For one guy that’s chess openings, for another it’s the bible, for myself it’s the multiplication tables up to 20. So yeah, it’s going to depend on what you value.

If you are going to do memory work it would be good to have a number encoding system like the Major, down pat, a peg list at least 1-10 and a few structures that can serve as memory palaces.
