I found a really good Walmart layout that’s close to what my neighborhood store looks like. Do you guys think its too complex? I’m going to add items in each section to remember.

Any place can be used as a memory palace as long as you can remember the sequence of the loci consistently. If you can do that with Wal-Mart, it’ll work great. How many loci do you think you’ll fit in there?

It’s truly possible if you can see the real place couple of times. Imagination would be good. But, just by layout, I think it would be a little tough to imagine properly. But of course it’s possible. Let me know.

The best thing about a Walmart palace is that it solves the pesky problem of cravings. You know, after a long and tiring day of work you get home and take a shower, shake your head slowly and look at the floor as you mouth the words of something pretty stupid you said five years ago that was somewhat embarrassing for you at the time, or just doing whatever else it is you’re into (there is no rhyme or reason to when or where it will strike) then all of the sudden, you just want to be in that Walmart environment.
Nothing else can satisfy.
We have all shared the experience of the overwhelming joy and wonder that washes over us while taking a stroll through those pristine Walmart aisles.
You are on the right track my friend, and we all could all learn a little something from you by building our own Walmart palaces so we will no longer wake up in the middle of the night pining for Walmart’s bliss.
But we must admit that there is a real danger to this as well. If you have the ability to conjure up the feeling of being in Walmart at will, would you ever want to come out again?
