Visualising memory palace

When adding images/objects to a memory palace, I read that people can take multiple views visualising the memory palace.
It can be first person, third person or a birds eye view.
Have you tried different views and if so which one worked better for you?

I use third person view and sometimes other ways to see. And I visualize some things that I want to remember not in Pictures or objects but I write them In a imaginary Notebook

That is very interesting. Have you found the third person view to work better than first person for instance?
The notebook approach is also interesting. How do you pick between the various approaches?
Do certain tasks (numbers, images, names) work better on one approach vs the others.

I have started training recently and use the first person view only. Right now I am considering various ways to improve recall (better associations, different memory palaces etc) and was wondering if experimenting with a different viewpoint/visualization will increase retention.

Thanks for sharing.

I’ve found that viewing an image from multiple angles by ‘rotating’ around it makes it stick better.

That’s a good one, will try it out
