Tips to remember laws

Hi, folks, I’m not english speaker and I don’t use a translator, so forgive my error.
I need to memorize a lot of laws for an exam and so I think that maybe I don’t know a/some method/s that is/are better for do this. I am good with pao for the numbers, and less confident, but still capable with loci and list of words. Have any tips for help me? How would you do it this? Thanks

Hi!

Welcome to the board.

I have read some Constitutions, but not really the more detailed laws. Nevertheless, I believe I would pick a sentence or a phrase that summarizes each item I would want to memorize; then put those into loci with their respective number associations.

Even if you have to memorize laws verbatim, memorizing the essence of them first ought to help immensely.

Hope that helps.

  1. Structure of the information
  2. Chunk it into small manageable pieces
  3. Associate each chunk with a concrete and easy to remember the image
  4. Place the images along a mental journey and
  5. Memorize them in order.

Thank you for the quick response. I will try by first summarizing the general text of all, then the most important ones in detail.
Have a nice day everyone!
