Tiago's Jornal: Trying to not end myself

24/09/2025

Today I woke up feeling really good. I’m feeling great and I got some sunlight. I have an exam at college, and I’m studying without much pressure and without feeling that strong urge to procrastinate. The only thing I did differently today was getting some sun, really. I’m going to grab this bucket of motivation and try to avoid screens and stimuli in general. I also used the memory palace today to memorize some theories for a subject we’ll have an exam on soon!

Nothing at all, bro. But you’re absolutely right about that — I definitely need to get some sunlight. I started today with 15min!

It’s been a while, but I’ve been doing reasonably well. I’ve been managing to handle several activities from work, college, and especially my studies. I have a test on the 19th, in 9 days! It’s still hard for me to concentrate on studying for long periods, but it’s been working out. The two main things that really made a difference were using the Pomodoro method (25-5) and imagining myself in third person, like a character in a game, those two always have some effect on me. I hope I can make it in the end.

super disturbing title for a memory forum honestly. i hope you get better but that’s super inappropriate in my opinion.

It is indeed. It needed approval from the mods, but everything is going well at the moment.

Good morning, everyone! I’ve been feeling really good since the last update. I started taking more vitamins, getting some sun, avoiding fried foods, exercising, and studying every day. I managed to take my exam, and the results will be out soon. Even if it’s not great, I’m still satisfied with everything. Thank you for everything you’ve done for me! Let’s keep up the fight.

Have you seen a doctor to make sure nothing is physically wrong? Start with that also. I’m back on Memory League because I have a goal of not self deleting either.

I haven’t gone yet, but I’m sure my condition has more to do with my lifestyle than anything else.
Using TikTok, Instagram, and listening to music all day; eating junk food; sitting so much that my muscles have weakened; not getting any sunlight or exercise, since I don’t even need to walk because I work from home, all of that definitely contributed to it.

But I’ve been changing my lifestyle. Today I did 30 minutes of exercise and felt better than I have in months. So I’m determined to stay consistent with a healthier, less artificially stimulating life.

But eventually i’ll see a doctor to check it all as well! Thank you, Hellina!

I hope everyone is doing well, good afternoon! After all the turbulence my life went through during the period I last posted, thank God I managed to win the battle with that exam that took so long to happen. I’d like to share here what actually helped me:

Basically, after spending some time thinking while studying, I realized I had many vices and problematic habits that were dragging me down without me noticing—like eating too many carbs, not getting enough sun, barely walking, having parasites due to poor diet, etc. Additionally, as I mentioned before, I used that trick of seeing myself inside a game; however, whenever a serious problem occurred, I would “leave” the game and crash back into reality, which messed up my work and studies.

What I ended up doing: I listed all my activities in a Memory Palace and assigned a “damage” value to each activity if it wasn’t completed by 6:00 PM.

  • I had 100 Total HP (Health Points).
  • I recovered 25 HP every time I exercised in the morning.

Since my last post, I started doing this and simply became obsessed with finishing my tasks to avoid losing HP and to keep my health bar full.

Summary of Results:

  • Before: I had never exercised for more than 5 days in a row, couldn’t focus for more than 2 hours, and felt depressed and unwell all the time.
  • Now: I am 22 years old. It’s been 5 months since I started exercising every single day without it feeling like a burden. I studied every day for the second part of the exam with ease, and I’ve been eating correctly as a lifestyle choice rather than an obligation.

Memorization techniques have definitely made all the difference in my life!
