I am a complete beginner and have no prior experience with memory techniques. Could you please provide me with a step-by-step guide or learning path, ranging from basic to advanced levels, specifically designed for a beginner like me?
Here are some resources: Links to Art of Memory Resources
A good first step is the free ebook.
Thank you for sending me the materials. Are there any other resources I could receive besides these? I often find myself forgetful and struggle with retaining information for long periods. I am very keen on practicing long-term memory techniques to handle large amounts of data, which I hope to apply to my studies and work.
There are also books listed here: What Are Some Good Memory Books to Read?
Once you know the basics (from the ebook), you can search the forum to go deeper into topics and ask questions.
happy journey!
Hi everyone,
I recently went through the free “Learn the Art of Memory” ebook, and I’m looking to dive deeper into the topics covered in it.
I was wondering if anyone could recommend or share any free resources, guides, ebooks, or PDFs related to the following topics:
- Memory techniques (Memory Palace, Method of Loci, Major System, PAO System, Dominic System, etc.)
- Mental calculation / Mental Math
- General brain training and cognitive improvement
- Learning Chinese characters (Hanzi), Japanese Kanji, and other character-based writing systems using mnemonic techniques
- Learning English vocabulary using memory techniques and mnemonic methods
- Language learning with Memory Palaces, Spaced Repetition (SRS), or other memory systems
I’d really appreciate any recommendations, free learning materials, websites, guides, or downloadable PDFs that could help me study these subjects in more depth.
Thanks in advance for your help!
