What is this diagram in this image I think this is an advance memory technique?? Do anyone knows it?
Reverse image search led me to here: Art of memory - Wikipedia
The first image has caption “Graphical memory devices from the works of Giordano Bruno” and part of the image is the logo on this forum.
Giordano Bruno wrote about the “Art of Memory” in the 16th century.
Ohh
, I have to go deeper into that
This is simply a diagram of Bruno’s works, inspired by Ramon Llull’s combinatorial logic and the Ars Notoria. These, in turn, are based on Aristotle’s logical alphabet.
Bruno uses these letters for “inventio,” one of the six parts of rhetoric, and for memorizing words, which is adapted to another system. To memorize words, he uses something similar to the PAO, but with the alphabet, based on Pietro da Ravenna’s system and Llull’s combinatorial system. He also uses Llull’s system mixed with mnemonics for logic and to expand the system of loci.
I don’t recommend reading Bruno; it would take you a long time to understand him, since he wrote for the scholars of his time, so you have to relate his work to other books to understand it. Functional systems are few, so it’s better to focus on them.
@YASH_KUMAR There is more information in this section: giordano-bruno
