Minute 8 and 30 seconds, +100 dots in a second, is he using any technique or just brute force? Amazing btw.

My guess is that he is really good at grouping them together to the point where he just does it subconsciously/automatically.

I very much suspect that he is doing his calculations mostly by memory. If you look at his early videos he does the Jonas Von Essen thing where he moves his hands a certain way for each number. It doesn’t look like it could be abacus or anything else. On top of that. One time when he was on The Brain China he determined the value of sin 289 deg. The most practical way of doing that would appear to be memorization.
