Reasoning Puzzle ( How do you solve them ? )

I am a bank exam aspirant and solving reasoning puzzles. These are very difficult for me. I want to know how would you solve these reasoning puzzles. I appear in different bank exams like SBI PO , IBPS PO , Clerk.

Twelve persons M, N, O, P, Q, R, S, T, U, V, W, and X live on different floors of a 12-floor building but not necessary in the same order. The bottommost floor is numbered as 1st floor and topmost floor is numbered as 12th floor.
S lives immediately above T such that both live on prime numbered floor. X lives at most two floors above S. W lives four floors above X. W doesn’t live on 9th floor. M lives on prime numbered floor above W. Q lives immediately above U but below W. O lives immediately below P. R does not live above U. N lives above Q and below V.

V lives on____________?
(a) 12th floor
(b) 9th floor
(c) 7th floor
(d) 10th floor
(e) None of these

I want to know how would you solve these kinds of puzzles.

Is there any memory system that I can apply to reasoning puzzles ?

how about solving in reverse manner.

Let’s assume the first option is correct and consider the value of V => 12.
If the certain conditions match than the first option is correct.

If not match try with second option, and so on…

Reverse option seems nice and reasonable.

I will put more questions here.

Love your method @user_7e
I was following a difficult method taught by my teacher. Your method is very nice and easier than his method.
Thank you.

15 are puzzles. Some are mixed with puzzles not blood relation or coding decoding merely. I will include my memory systems to solve them.

Yeah but @user_7e 's system of writing is appreciated. I just love it.
