Are there any real-time memorization techniques? Like, reading a book or hearing a conversation and memorize it.

Sometimes when I’m listening to an audiobook while driving and the book starts mentioning a list of items, I’ll create an instant memory palace on a nearby object and place images for the ideas on it. I haven’t done much with it beyond that. It improves my recall so I can think about the ideas later, but I don’t review the journeys much after that. They are just temporary for me. You could turn them into long-term journeys if you wanted.
