Hello,
I would like to memorize all 118 elements in the periodic table, things i want to memorize with them :

  • Atomic number
  • Atomic Mass
  • Symbol
  • Group
  • Name of the element
    I want to do it for fun, and im looking for the best way to prep all the stuff for my memory palace, I will apprieciete all your tips. The methods im planning to use is Major system for atomic number and mass, so here are 2 images already i wonder what should i do with symbols and names to make images and associete them easly. I will apprieciete all of your tips.

You might find this interesting / helpful. I give an example of how I integrated this information into a single scene for each element:

Just make an image of that which sounds the same. For example the number 1 is Dio from jojo in my system. So I imagine Dio doing the hydra sign from the MCU. Or for example silver surfer holding an AK-47. Just change the k to the voiced equivalent and you got ag.

This was a very interesting one! (Nothing new, but well presented)
I especially liked how he reminds to be smart about the information to memorize and the layering vs parallel memory palace.

So for 1 element u use few different images? For Boron u youse Han Solo - in every image so u know its boron then Han Solo reading an anatomy book to find (n) 2 - period and (t,m) - 13 - group, and then you use Han Solo asks “do you like my adhesive dice" for the atomic weight. With that group and period searching method u can remember elements numbers by putting them in order in ur memory palace( from lowest to highest) i understand. Well it prob takes some good amount of time to prep that for all 118 elements and place them all in the palace. So you are using for 1 element more then 1 image am i right?

Yeah, I would stack them up like a hindu God holding up objects that each represent a concept. I would memorize the atomic mass as such: 107: A tusk growing out of silver surfer’s mouth and holding a rod with ivy growing on it. Tusk = 107 fishing rod/fish = 86 ivy = 8. I wouldn’t use a memory palace tho.

I saw your achievements - what u were able to memorize and that seems very impressive. Im really curious if you are using more then 1 image to remember 1 element, i asked this before but incase u didnt see the reply im sending again, before start learning i want to have everything well prepered:)

It’s one SCENE per element made up of several mnemonic images.

I was consistent with what type of mnemonic thing would represent each attribute so that it wouldn’t get confusing.

Person / location represents the number.

Element name is a soundalike element that is the first thing the person interacts with.

A secondary object that started/ended with the letters for the symbol.

Period/group is another object embedded within the scene.

Spoken phrase represents the atomic weight.

All are encapsulated within a single scene that takes place at the location that represents the number.

118 locations, one for each scene.

When I was in 10th standard I had a similar dream. I printed the table and attached it to my study table and within a few months, I could memorize the complete periodic table. I think this is the best way to memorize something.
