Pegs or palaces can't be used for bridge. Discuss. [20 marks]

The English Bridge Union tweeted an article suggesting that mnemonics are:

… not too good when you have to keep wiping your memory to concentrate on a new sequence (e.g. a new board at the bridge table).

The following very long AoM link implies that erasing palaces is a problem. One post (@Slaveoth #3) says that maximum re-usability is every 3 days - Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, then repeat:

.
The following link says that the number of bridge boards played in a session could be 28:

So, a bridge player would need 28 peg lists to cover all the boards.

I use the same memory palace everyday for my daily card practice. As I only ‘tack’ the images onto the loci, don’t review it and have designated it a ‘temporary’ MP from the get go, I find I only need wait an hour for the Forgetting Curve to work its magic. Infact I have found that I don’t even need to wait an hour for the images to fade, as long as I mentally ‘clean’ it. Cleaning it works maybe 3 times in a row but then I do need to leave a longer gap.
I should imagine juggling 28 temporary MPs would be a challenge but surely with practice…? How is it any different to a Memory Champion memorizing god-knows-how-many decks in a hour?
