I’ve been lurking here fit for a little over a month. I’ve started a nice mind palace but I have one question. I have several different passwords for different sites. I always have to look at my sheet to find them. This is a pain. Most of my passwords are names and numbers on the end. And of course some have upper and lowercase letters. And even though they may start with a name I forget which name to which wedsite. Thank you for any help.

I did find that before. I understand everything else. But say I have 20+ websites, some have same passwords some different. I usually use letters or a name and then digits behind it. Should I just go through every site and code them together with all the sites sharing the same password? And what about sites who require upper and lower case letters. Or am I doomed to looking at my cheat list? Most passwords follow this format aaaa1111. Some more letters or numbers depending. And again some have first letter capatilized.
Use last pass or password safe for better security.
If non vital logins then by all means use memory techniques. I like to convert the major letters in the domain name into numbers and then the other simple conversions (such as e to 3). Artofmemory.com might be something like a41033304y and then I’d add a secret common pin so if someone knows my technique then they can’t easily guess the password.
