I’ve managed to almost complete my 0-99 system but I’m missing a few, and I’m trying to stick to the same format of using the alphabet.

I’ve been all through celebrities, fictional characters and people I know.

Any help..?..

Try this website where you can enter initials, and the site will give names of famous people.

There’s also this Art of Memory page which offers lots of advice.

I think this was one of many that I used but the missing PAO numbers are ones that only seem to have people I’ve never heard of and would never remember as a result :person_facepalming::joy:

How about Issac Asimov (sci fi writer) for 91, and Horatio Alger (American author in 1800s who wrote rages to riches books) for 81?

Thanks mate, yeah I saw Ian Fleming but I literally only know one thing about him which doesn’t make him memorable to me ha ha, I’m completely lost :rofl:

Yeah thanks mate I’ve heard of Isaac, brilliant writer.!..but know nothing else about him… Perhaps I need to do a little studying of him and he’ll become memorable!

No what I meant is I personally have never heard of him straight off the bat so it wouldn’t stick in my brain.

I googled him and yes I recognise what he’s been in but I need his initials or name to pop out for me.

For 1-10 could you just only use the first initial of a name and ignore that last?

Ahh I see that I missed that mentioned earlier. I’m curious How do you do a Pao with a bun, shoe, tree?

It’s really a simple version of the PAO because my dad taught me it when I was about 7 years old.

As it’s burned into my brain I may as well use it right lol

So I would literally lay out the objects along my route mashing them together with whatever I wanted to remember.

A giant bun on my driveway instead of my car… I lose a shoe walking up my steps… My front door has reverted back to a tree and I have to climb it to get in… Etc etc

Ok so one thing per location that makes sense. When I think of pao I think of three items per location being one person with the next numbers action and third numbers object but sometimes I enjoy just having one thing per location or a person object since I often forget the action.

I was like what could a buns action and object be :laughing: but I guess it could be

A- squishing
O- beef patty
