I am new to the memory world and I am trying for memorizing random words in least amount of time .Does somebody have any ideas or opinion to help me to memorize the random words .
And also I have a doubt .I cannot clearly see the images in my mind and if also I see them they are not vivid .So I tried making images cartoonish but I couldnot make them cartoonish Please if somebody have any opinion regarding my problem help me
Maybe you’re just starting. It’s been only 3months been started to the training. You could say it’s been long already, but Im just at a little bit over the starting line. Just think of it that you are going to learn how to memorize things other than the usual way we do it. I think we’re going to force our mind to imagine or make of an image. Ofcourse there are many methods of learning it, but just go learn it. I have also difficulty making image but it gets better with training. So far im making it as a carricature. If my image is person with big nose, then i focus on the big nose then the rest is just a detail.

You just have to practice and over time you will increase the speed and amount of random words you can memorize. I use 2 words per location but other people do less or more. You have to find what works for you.
I learned that visualizing is not the main key to seeing the images but having emotions and feelings attached to what you are picturing. Those emotions will easily trigger the images so it is not about being cartoonish or flashy or anything but if you have emotions in what you picture.
Imagination is not always memorization, and viceversa. You could have an amazing imagination and yet be low at making associations, therefore bad at organized memorization.
About memorization of words, combine method of loci with link system: group words in two or three and place the image interaction in association with an spot in a memory palace.
