Name/identification code for each palace

Recently I decided to put all my palaces that I was memorizing on Anki, but I couldn’t think of a way to write down on a card which palace to review, I could put a photo of the view I have when entering it through the door, over time it would take up A LOT of space storage on my cell phone, but it would make it much easier if I had a name or code that represented each palace I’ve already memorized, I could use this coded name in Anki in some palaces without needing to use portals to refer to a specific palace, and it would also be easier If I wanted to make a list of all the palaces I have within a palace, either in alphabetical order of the name/code of the palaces I have or organized by theme, on this occasion it would be a bit boring to create several portals that lead to each palace I want leave it in that specific location. I think that even if I use several interconnected palaces to memorize a large amount of information, it would be very useful to have a name for each palace.

I’m still thinking of ways to do this, I don’t know if at the entrance I create a unique story, a unique name/code for that palace, I memorize palaces and leave them saved to memorize anything later, I haven’t memorized a palace yet to memorize a specific type of information, so for me I wouldn’t be able to choose an identifying name for a palace using as a reference the content I memorized in it, perhaps I could create names based on the number of the palace I memorized (first palace I memorized, third palace, etc. .) and using a system to convert the palace number to a consonant and then creating a very memorable word or story for each one could be a good idea, I would have a unique name and I would know the order of the palaces I memorized (but not I see how useful it is to know the order in which I memorized each palace in my life)

Do you have any ideas on how to create names to identify each palace in a way that each name is unique and reminds you of a specific palace, or ideas on how it would be useful for you to have a name/code to identify each palace, can you think of anything interesting?

I simply use a nickname that refers to how the beginning of the palace looks like. For instance, my palace named “bird stone” is the one that has a big front door with birds carved on it.

There’s no need to have a complex system for that, tbh. Just go with the nickname that reminds you of that palace.

Boa sorte!

I agree with this method. I have a list on paper. I write down a palace nickname (something short and unique that reminds me of the palace).

I also number them. I use the order that I write them on the paper. There’s relatively minimal thought going into that.

I do this for my “temporary storage” palaces.
I refer to it as “indexing”.

I haven’t quite figured out names for many of the longer term palaces I have memorized around my town because they’re tangled up and mixed together (in memorable ways).

I use enumeration to maintain the sequence, gives you an easy and organized index.
