But I have to say that I didn’t care for the presentation which was almost all giggles and horseplay. I would have preferred to watch her doing the math.

Even though she does what is considered low difficulty problems in the world of mental calculations like dividing by 1 digit, it is a good way to get new people interested in the community.

In general I dislike displays like this, in which the person performs an extremely easy skill without explaining what is being done. Essentially what this does is tricks the lay people watching into thinking she is some supernatural genius, when the real message that needs to be given by the video is that anyone can learn to divide by 1 digit with about an hour of practice.
Although I do agree with @albinoblanke that with 8.8 million views on the video this can only be a good thing with regard to spreading awareness about mental calculation and bringing more people into the community.
That was another part that bothered me. Although I can imagine that this sort of presentation would be entertaining for the video’s target audience of teenagers and kids.
