Memory tricking for learning sign language?

Has anyone stumbled upon good tricks for memorizing sign languages? I would like to pick up a goal and start practicing ASL for 15 minutes a day

Hi,

The only way to learn SL quicker is to associate the shapes of the hand (making letters) to the respective word.

Kind of similar to muscle memory but different obviously.

You could start with Nelson Dellis’s video on the ASL alphabet

The Complete Guide to Baby Sign Language: 200+ Signs for You and Baby to Learn Together has a mnemonic for each sign they give. Just note that it is based on the ASL and some signs are the same but it’s not all the same
