Set aside some blocked time daily to work on mnemonics.

  1. Memorize random words
  2. Create new memory palaces
  3. Create or practice a 00-99 numbers system
  4. Create or practice a 1 or 2 card system
  5. Speed number recognition drills
  6. Memorize random numbers
  7. Memorize decks of cards

Note details related to training and reflect with notes on what worked and what didn’t.

I used to memorize random words daily and attempt to create 1 new MP per day.

Lately I do 5 speed number recognition drills and memorize 120 number digits each day.

If youre getting started id go very simple. Create about 10 palaces and just get used to memorizing simple things.

Something like first 10 chemical elements, your grocery list etc.

  1. First I’ve spend a few hours preparing my 2-digits system and learned how to use Anki.

The daily routine:

  1. I do full Anki review of my 00-99 digits system - about 2 minutes.

  2. Currently I just train memorizing Numbers - 7 minutes:

  • warmup at 16-digits
  • short break
  • a single attempt to reach the next level
  • a retrospection about the attempt

The goal is to reach 10 lvl at Numbers this year, then start training Cards.
Then reach 10 lvl at Cards, and memorize a physical deck of cards in a short time.
