Memory training tools-which techniques for the different tests

Out of curiosity, the training games on this site-dice/random numbers/words etc.

Which techniques are the best to use with them??

Which systems have you found works best for each individual training game??

The most useful tool I would say for those games is daily effort. You will discover what works best for you by practicing the different systems. Obviously, for numbers above 9 you might want to use the Phonetic “Major” System, but if you are just starting out I think you should try a combination of the Number-Shape and Number-Rhyme Systems. Random word memorization is to me very important - because if you get good at memorizing dozens of random, even abstract words in a day, you can transfer that ability to memorizing the main ideas in books and articles you’ve read. You can also use both number and word memorization to perfectly remember large amounts of encyclopedic knowledge in any field you choose. However, the random symbols game is also highly effective for learning how to quickly memorize mathematical formulas. The daily practice you exert will also teach you a great deal about the importance of periodic review of material you’ve learned, and the nature of high level creativity in forming original mnemonic aids to memory. Good luck!
