That’s interesting. By the way, the memory app you want for Android is called Memory Ladder. It has spoken numbers, speed numbers, speed cards, words, names, binary. It’s a really good app
Any tips about good, preferably FLOSS Android apps for training, as of late 2024? Google Play says Memory Ladder is for older versions only (in other words, it’s not actively maintained anymore).
Speed cards and random numbers would be a good start. Names, faces, binary etc. would be fine to have but optional features for my use cases.
edit: Memory Ladder works on newer Android versions when installed straight from the downloaded APK. Seems to tick almost all the boxes too.

I got the XAPK file from here. It needs to be unpacked with a zip extractor app or some such in order to get to the actual APK file, which you can install via package manager.
It seems that the app is pretty much unmaintained at the moment, which is unfortunate since it’s actually quite great.
