Day 45 - 47
I did some math and played a lot of chess.
French: I listened to a lot of podcasts and watched short French videos, noting down words I didn’t know.
Italian: I spent about 40 minutes on Italian, mostly revisiting grammar and vocabulary.
Chess: I solved some puzzles and played for about 2 hours.
Math: In total, I think I did about 3 hours of math.
Memorization: I hadn’t been memorizing much over the past few days, so I memorized a list of 52 words in order (took me less than 5 minutes). What was difficult were words like “honest” and “charming”—it was really tough to come up with images for them. My plan for today and tomorrow is to memorize 225 words along with their definitions
Moving forward, I want to shift my main focus back to memorization and taking on math challenges. In addition, I plan to dedicate time to learning new skills in different areas. So ill be playing less chess
Day 48 - 51
I didn’t do that much, but I noticed that the method I created for myself worked very well, and I no longer have a problem with procrastination.
School: I have 3 exams next week, so I studied a bit for them.
French: I read a book and learned about 150 new words.
Chess: I played for about 3 hours in total.
Math: I took a short break, but I started reading The Art and Craft of Problem Solving by Zeitz.
That’s it. not a lot, but also not nothing. I also memorized 4 openings.
’m not sure if this will work for you, but first, I prepare everything I need to do and imagine all the tasks as part of a game. After completing everything, I give myself a reward. Most of the time, though, I skip the reward part because the hardest part for me is just getting started.
But you just have to try out diffrent methods and see what suits you best
Day 52 - 69
I actually forgot to write, but now that the holidays have started, I don’t have school for 2 weeks. In the last few days, I memorized about 42 pages—not verbatim, but well enough that I could recite every sentence in my own words. I really enjoyed doing that. I also did a lot of math and, of course, studied for school. I played a lot of chess as well. I spent 1-2 hours each day mixing these activities.
Here’s my plan for this week and next week:
Memorize 2 chapters of a biology book in as much detail as possible
Read 3 books
Study for 2 exams
Work on exercises from a math book
Memorize: things like muscle groups in the human body, all Nobel Prize winners for Peace, anatomy of the human brain and its functions, all organs (their names and functions), and some poems verbatim. Also, spend 10 minutes each day on number memorization.
Day 70 - 76
I was basically just reading, and I finished two books. I also started reading a third one today. These are my plans for today:
Memorize: I memorized all the Nobel Peace Prize winners and all the organs along with their functions. I think I will also memorize a poem later today. I did a bit of biology as well.
Math: I completed pages 1 - 20, which took me about 3.5 hours.
Hey mister!
I saw this entire 66 posts long thread here.
That’s amazing!
You have been unbelievably productive!
Could you share the methods you employ to perform these feats?
I understand that it is not an overnight result.
But accrued effort.
I am new here and have completed the art of memory guide.Been fiddling around the site for some time, testing tons of techniques available
