I have an exam on the 30th of April which includes four chapters of computer related material.

I’m not worried about the exam as I passed the mock very well but I just want to get a really high percentage. I have an understanding of the majority of the material but I want to memorize it all to have better precise answers.
The way I’m currently trying to remember the material is by using analogies for example an interrupt I imagine a pupil being a peripheral device and a teacher being the CPU and the different processes which occur between them for example the pupil signals by raising his/her hand to request assistance from the teacher.
I’ve been reading a lot on the method of loci but I don’t understand how I can apply that to such dense material.
What would you do personally to remember this information and out of interest how long do you think it would take you to remember all of it? There really isn’t a lot of information but I still struggle.

There’s in total about 20 pages of information for each chapter. I don’t really have to remember it word by word but I want to remember the main points of each sentence. I did no revision for the mock exam and got an A but I really want 85%+ for a distinction.
I’m kind of in the same situation. I’m studying for the CompTIA Storage+ exam, and there are so many acronyms and technical terms to memorize, along with their definitions, I’m not sure how to go about it. I find it hard to create images in my mind for some of the terms used. Did you manage to find any help with this?
Then you can link each image with its definition. Natural memory can hold a lot of information, so you only need to use images for the parts that you’re likely to forget.
An address bus is one way (uni-directional). You might want to remember addressable memory elements. I would just use natural memory to remember that it’s 2 to the power of the bits (8-bit bus = 28 memory addresses).
You could either place those images in a memory palace using the method of loci, or just use association. If you’re learning hardware terms, you could visualize those images on top of the hardware.
