Memorizing Drink Recipes

I am new to memorization but am trying to memorize drink recipes as a bartender. It seems to be tricky for me to be able to memorize the numbers associated to the ingredient. Here is an example of a recipe I need to memorize.

Tom Collins Recipe
1.5 oz Gin
3/4 oz Lemon Juice
3/4 Simple Syrup
Soda Water
Cherry and Lemon Garnish
Preparation- shake gin, lemon juice and simple syrup. Strain over ice in a highball glass and fill the rest of the glass with soda water.

Hi Jim,

Could you tell us what system you’re currently using? If you don’t currently have a system, there should be plenty on this platform as to how to set up a number system, your only complication should be memorising images for fractions. I believe that the units you’re measuring in will normally be self explanatory by context, but it’s worth considering.

In case you haven’t already, make sure you read this website’s ebook, it should show you a few methods to connect all the dots

Hey @catonjames. I’m Kemsimba. So I actually just did something like this on my own some hours ago. A recipe for a morning wellness drink. I’ll illustrate what worked for me and the result of information I absorbed.
Imagine: :honeybee: hives growing up a vine. While making :honey_pot:, :lemon: s fall from the bottom of the hives onto 2 slanted tables with cinnamon sticks turned in a “V” shape making them roll forward into hot water.
Information:
Hot Water
2 Tbsp :honey_pot:
2 Tbsp :lemon: Juice
2 Tbsp Vinegar
Dash of Cinnamon
Use everything. Your entire imagination. Be vulgar with yourself if necessary. It’s whatever works for you.
