Memorizing a dictionary

I want to memorize a dictionary. Just for the fun of it. The goal I want to achive : be able to recall to meaning of a word when I hear it.

A goal which I would be very glad to achive is to recall the word when I see the thing in real life. For example, recalling the meaning of the word brutalism, pointing out when someone is performing a defenestration and remembering that the reaction is called electrolysis.

Amount of time I want to spend on it : a year if necessary. My approach is large decks in Anki categorized in some order (not finished with this matter) and a memory palace.

Feel free to suggest new techniques or give advice.

I think you could create stories between groups of words and study the groups together. Because there are a lot of similar words
