I have read all of Tony Buzan’s books, as well as other memory books. I am considering summarizing sentences from 10 different textbooks from my university books and memorizing 300 sentences from each book. I would need advanced level memory technique suggestions for this.
If you want to memorize verbatim, the redux method of taking the first letter of each word and test your recall against those acronyms works pretty well.
I am open to suggestions. I will memorize 300 sentences from each book, totaling 3000 sentences. I will create short sentences.
I suppose gold lists are a viable alternative, although I haven’t used them exactly like this before. That’s a way to embed things in your long-term memory by testing yourself every fourteen days. You could maybe make the test out of the aforementioned acronyms.
Basically: write a list of twenty of those acronyms, forget about them for two weeks, then after two weeks you write out the sentences next to the acronyms. Then you take out the stuff you remembered and make a new test to be taken two weeks later.
I’ve only used it to learn foreign vocabulary and other binary facts. I’ll see if I can find the video.
