I was wondering… If that’s possible I think if I understand the meaning of the words and the Verses definition it will be better bcoz quran is not like literature it’s not just written words think about it…

If you haven’t seen these posts yet, there might be some ideas there:

I am working on it by mind map you can use it it is help you

I’ve had an idea about using the memory palace for a long time. I’ve created a big enough memory palace to store all 30 main sections (paras) of the quran but, It’s hard to turn 6,000 sentences of varying lengths (and from another language) into one or 2 specific images and then putting them into a big enough memory palace. I really want to be able to do this so I’m willing to put all the effort required.

I’m not sure how to approach that kind of task, but let us know if you find techniques that work for you. I’ve read that many thousands of people do it every year, so there must be methods.

There’s another interesting story of someone who memorize a long book verbatim here — I haven’t read about it in a long time, but there might be some ideas in those articles:

Also check out the verbatim-text pages.

I’ve tested it and her’s my game plan.

For new lessons I’ll memorise 1 page a day (13 lines per page quran)
I’m gonna turn each ayat into 3 pictures (mark key words and connect them)
put them in a short -term meory palaec (I have 5 short term palaces that I use for card memorization and the sort)
then I’ll repeat the images until I don’t need them anymore.

Recent lessons
i do 8 recent lessons daily so I would turn the first ayah of the first lesson in each lesson into 2 images instead of 3. So I have 16 images. (why im not doin all the ayats is because of the repetition I did days prior which will help solidify the memory.

Old lessons
the real fun starts here:
the quran is divided into chapters and ayats
but the system I use is a little more concise
The quran is also divided into paras (30 of them) each para is divided into quarters and each quarter has 3+ rukoos.
So I have created a long-term memory palace in advance
I turn the first ayat of each rukoo into 1 concise image
Then I put them in this memory palace attached to its ayah number and surah name (use ben system for numbers)
theoretically, if I keep reviewing every day the ayahs I’ve for long term will be guides for loacting every other ayah because there should be over 500 ayats in the long-term palace. Also, I should be over 95% accurate in my recitation which is really really good.

I’m so sorry if I have any grammar or spelling mistakes
Please ask if you have any questions
This method might not be my final and still trying to tweak it so it’s optimal for speed + accuracy.

Thank you.

Let us know if the technique works for you.

I am interested in using the memory palace to memorize the list of 114 suras of Quran.
