Part1:
If you have problems with decimal numbers and you need some help on how to memorize them fast and recall them at anytime, then you’re at the right place.
Oh, I forgot. If you really want to know it, there is a catch and the catch is ‘phonetic sounds’.
Don’t worry you don’t need to know them, but you need to know where they are meant to be or appear on a name.
This system I’m about to teach you has different variations, I prefer mine.
The key is to remember the souds. SOUNDS. I repeat SOUNDS.
You need to memorize the key consonants first. It’s easy.
- S or Z
- T, D, th or TH
- N or H
- M or W
- R or Y
- L or G
- J, Sh, Ch or the French J
- K, Q or X
- F or V
- B or P
Listen, you don’t need to memorize all of them, but it will be good if you do.
I have pictures of all the names I have here and I’ll send them to interested memebers, but on the condition that it will be within this forum.
Mastering the CONSONANTS.
For 0. S is the beginner and Z is the terminator.
Example: 050 is Size [saɪz] not Sise, though both are correct, but we’re been strict here with spelling for the sake of consistency and fast recall, but with time you can use any spelling as long as they sound the same, like Naz/Nas. = 290.
For 1. T is the beginner and D is the terminator
Example: 171 is Ted [ted] not Tet. So, 1711 = Ted Turner. TH and th are not in action.
For 2. N is the beginner and still the terminator.
Example: 212 is Nun [nʌn]. H is not in action
For 3. M is the beginner and still the terminator.
Example: 343 is mom [mɑm]. W is not in action.
For 4. R is the beginner and still the terminator.
Example: 434 is Rear [rir] or 444 Roar [rɔr]. Y is not in action.
For 5. L is the beginner and still the terminator.
Example: 565 is Lil [lɪl]. 5653 = Lil Wayne. G is not in action.
For 6. J is the beginner and SH is the terminator
Example: 646 is Josh [ʤɑʃ]. So, 6467 = Josh Cohen. 6568 = Josh_ Foer. CH and ʒ are not in action.
For 7. K is the beginner and still the terminator
Example: 767 is Kick [kɪk]. Q and X are not in action.
For 8. F is the beginner and still the terminator.
Example: 808 is Fofe [foʊf]. V is not in action.
For 9. B is the beginner and P is the terminator
Example: 949 is Bop [bɑp] not Bob, but both are correct.
Remember the terminators will end every word despite the number formation, and the beginners will begin every word.
So, there is Bol/Ball, but no Pol/Paul
Mastering the VOWEL sounds and it’s corresponding color sounds.
Disclaimer: I’m not a linguist, I studied Network Computing in school. So, if I can do it as a non native speaker, then native speakers and other non native speakers can do it even better.
Don’t give up, your miracle is on the way.
Let’s go…
- Zero – [ziroʊ] the [oʊ] sound sounds like 0. Alternate sound: None. Color: Yell(ow)
- One – [wʌn] the [ʌ] sound sounds like 1. Alternate: [aʊ] as in House. Color: R(u)sset Br(ow)n
- Two – [tu] the [u] sound sounds like 2. Alternate: [ʊ] as in Wood, [ju] as in You or [jʊ] as in Europe. Color: Bl(ue)
- Three – [θri] the [i] sound sounds like 3 which is a long E vowel sound. Alternate: None. Color Gr(ee)n.
- Four – [fɔr] the [ɔ] sound sounds like 4. Alternate: [ɑ/ɒ] as in Pot or [ɝː] Earth. Color: P(ur)ple or (O)range. Note: I prefer the alternate sound [ɑ] to [ɔ]
- Five – [faɪv] the [aɪ] sound sounds like 5. Alternate: None. Color: Wh(i)te
- Six – [sɪks] the [ɪ] sound sounds like 6. Alternate: [ɔɪ] as in Boy. Color: P(i)nk
- Seven – [sevən̩] the [e] sound sounds like 7. Alternate: None. Color: R(e)d
- Eight – [eɪt] the [eɪ] sound sounds like 8. Alternate: None. Color: Gr(ay)
- Nine – [naɪn] the [aɪ] sound has been taken by 5, so I used the alternate sound [æ] as in Mat. Color: Black
Note: the [ɑ] sound is for four(4) when it appears on an (O) word as in pOt/bObby, but nine(9) when it appears on an (A) word like stAr/bArbara etc. You can ignore this if you’re a beginner.
Anything in [square bracket is the phonetic transcription sound] and anything in the (bracket is the raw sound). Both are still the same sound.
…to be continued.
Part2: Alphabet System. A.k.a Famous Plane
I invented the famous plane by accident.
The alphabet system has 676 images for males and 676 images for females. You only need the males or the females.
For the males, I have all the images and for the females? I’ll think about that.
With this system you can memorize any poetry, music, symbols, acronyms etc. And save it inside a virtual airplane filled with nothing but a bunch of celebrities making fun of themselves. 1, 352 celebs on board.
I’m sorry, Justin Bieber didn’t make it to the plane, but Kanye West and Taylor Swift are sitting next to each other. Hmmmm.
This system is about you laughing while you learn.
This is how it works
JL = Jennifer Lopez singing to her husband [John Legend] “oh baby get down on the floor till we leave Vegas to Africa”
JC = John Cena smacking his wife Jennifer Carpenter on the plane thinking she’s Randy Orton.
Famous Plane is an advance and funny Memory Palace or memory movie where you don’t just store information on the 1,352 celebs on board, but also on the extended airstair which has 26 male and 26 female single name celebs sitting next to each other in ascending order. From Akon to Zucchero for the males and from Ashanti to Zaho for the females. You can store information on the cockpit, floor, toilet and on the pilots and flight attendants.
All the initial names must be the same the last name can change.
Example:
Male Female
- Adam Amy
- Bill. Barbara
- Chris Christine
- David Diana
…to be continued.
