Major System Peg-List 00-99 Worksheet

Hi peeps.

This is the single-word peg-list that I put together based on the Major System from 00-99. (NOTE: 0 = 00 = S+S = Sauce, etc.) that I used. I wanted to use a peg list for the Major System (despite it being a phonetic system and peg-lists are not necessary) so that I have these images readily available in my mind to save time on image creation when memorizing numbers quickly. Borrowed heavily from sources online, but tweaked for my own usage.

You can copy and paste below into your own spreadsheet.

Hope this works for someone.

I also have single digits in case I’m learning something with an odd number of digits.
0–hose
1–hat
2–honey
3–ham
4–hare (bug’s bunny)
5–awl
6–shoe
7–cow
8–hive
9–hoop (like hula hoop)

Can you share the file with the respective images? I am just started training and it would be super helpful. Thanks!

For single digits . . . shaper system.

Builds on what you have (done).
And does it so well that many people use it.
The images may be the standard.

Also goes above and beyond “images from the web”.

BTW
" I also have single digits in case

an odd number of digits. "
Is brilliant.

Looks like Anki. Might look slightly different now, the screenshots seem like they’re from an older version

Thank you

I know this is an old post, however, I am trying to have a better understanding of how this sheet works. Can someone please explain it to me. I have a hard time correlating the sound of words, to numbers

If you haven’t seen these yet, they explain the basic technique:

Thank you for sharing the list. Helped a lot.

I have read and watched the videos on the link you sent. what does the letters down the first column mean? How do you correlate those?

Those are sounds from major that are associated with the digits 0-9.

This is a table of 100 words that correspond to all of the 2-digit numbers (00-99).

00 - represented by the S-S sounds - SauCe is a word that fits those phonetics.

52 - represented by L-N sounds - LioN is a match.

Etc.
