List of Bible chapter verse

Hi
I have been searching net for a ready made list of just the New Testament/Greek Bible chaptes and verses. No text.

eg: Matt 1v1
Matt 1v2
Matt 1v3 etc…

    Rev 1v1
    Rev 1v2 etc...

Does anyone have a list they would like to share?
Any help appreciated

I see how this would be useful… Is this what you’re looking for?. You can click through all the books to find the verses. Or do you want higher level of detail?

A faster way than just writing it all down to get all the verses numbers would be to use this page combined with this page. Click the second link, press enter a couple times, press ctrl-a, ctrl-c and then ctrl-v a couple times. Then, click "number each line left). Copy whatever is there(provided you have enough numbers), go to the first link, and type in “Matt 1v” into “add this prefix onto each line of text”. After that, delete the extra lines. (And just repeat for every chapter)

Hopefully you can follow that.

Edit: Forgot to mention this index. Look at how many verses each chapter has, then just delete the appropriate number of lines. Here, I’ll do it for the first 2. It takes maybe 15 seconds for each verse. After the first one, you just copy your numbered lines again, and change the prefix thing to the next number(Matt 1v changes to Matt 2v) and delete the appropriate number of lines.

Hi
Just started then I thought ‘I can do this in Excel’

Works well and fast in Excel
Hope this helps others

To fill an excel column with consecutive numbers without typing each one separately:

Type “1” in the first row of the column you want to number. While that cell is still highlighted from your typing (or just click on it to re-highlight it), you will see a tiny black square in the bottom right corner of the cell. Click on it and drag your mouseall the way down to the cell you want to see 500 appear in. It will first show all ones, but when you release the mouse button, you will see an AutoFill Options box that is blue and white at the corner of the last selected cell. Click this and choose Fill Series and you will be done!

Excel will also work. Good luck. Are you planning to memorize the New Testament? Have you perhaps seen “guide to memorizing books”?
